You don’t need to be an artist or identify as creative to benefit from this group.

Creativity is a natural part of being human—it's as essential as breathing.

The Artist’s Way is about unlocking that innate creativity, regardless of your background or profession.

Whether you want to access more creativity in your daily life, face fears, boost self-confidence, or remove blocks holding you back from accomplishing your goals, this group offers a supportive environment to explore and grow.

Creativity is our birthright, and in this group, we gather together to celebrate and actualize the creative power that flows through each of us.

This group is perfect for those seeking a blend of professional emotional support, structured creative practices, and soulful community.

In this group, you'll...

  • Develop a daily journaling practice to deepen self-awareness.

  • Create a weekly self-care practice that nurtures your inner child.

  • Learn how to move through the fear of failure in a safe, structured environment.

  • Be seen, heard, and supported as you navigate the messiness of transformation.

  • Connect with others in a gentle, healing space that encourages your authentic self to shine.

What is The Artist’s Way?

The Artist's Way is a workbook by Julia Cameron that helps people unlock their capacity for creativity — whether in art, at work, or in life.

The workbook is split into 12 weeks of readings and exercises. There are two main principles of The Artist’s Way. One is to develop a daily free-form writing practice - called The Morning Pages. The other is to develop a weekly self-care practice, a solo activity that brings you a sense of delight - called The Artist’s Date.

While it’s totally possible to do the workbook on your own, it’s helpful to go through it with a group in order to have accountability for actually doing the exercises. It’s also wonderful to have the support of others - to be able to share all of your “ah-ha” moments, the synchronicities, your self-discoveries - and to be held in a group that believes in you and your creativity.

Are you ready to tap into your potential?

In this group you will build self-confidence, foster your own personal growth, and deepen emotional awareness.

You’ll also gain tools to overcome fear and access joy and curiosity in your daily life. By committing to The Morning Pages and Artist’s Dates, you will facilitate your authentic self-expression. You’ll learn to embrace play, curiosity, and self-compassion.

By the end of the group, you’ll have cultivated a mindset of openness and feel empowered to embrace new possibilities with confidence and clarity.

This also means that the group meetings will not be recorded, so if you need to miss a session, it will not be reimbursed and the fee will apply whether or not you’re able to attend. Having a closed group fosters a sense of commitment and accountability to yourself and others. It also encourages deeper connections, allowing for greater authenticity and vulnerability as members get to know one another and grow together each week.

Meet your facilitator

Hello! I’m Natalie - a yoga teacher, psychotherapist, dancer, and aspiring writer.

Ever since high school, I’ve wanted to write a novel, but I never actually took the plunge and started writing…and it turns out, writing is kinda essential for creating a book :)

I felt stuck, unsure of how to take the first step. Then a dear friend introduced me to The Artist Way, and it opened my eyes to how fear had been holding me back. Now I have a (mostly) regular creative writing practice. I’m still working on writing even more often, but it feels so good to let my creativity flow, instead of feeling frozen by fear. I’ve also signed up for a novel writing class!

My transformational experience with The Artist’s Way inspired me to put together a group to go through the readings and exercises together. I believe in the power of groups to provide accountability and I trust that gathering in community fosters both healing and growth. Together we can encourage each other’s dreams as well as our own.

“Whatever you think you can do or believe you can do, begin it. Action has magic, grace, and power in it.” ― Julia Cameron

  • The group meetings will be online on Google Meet and you will be sent a link from my booking system each week.

  • Each group meeting will start with a grounding and breathing practice to help you feel more centered.

  • Then everyone will have time to share their answers to the weekly prompts and process personal experiences of practicing and implementing the exercises from The Artist’s Way.  There will also be time to share any feelings, memories, creative output, and/or synchronicities that arose during the week.

  • All group members will be a witness to each others’ creative expressions and personal experiences, holding space for each other respectfully and compassionately.

  • The group will end with a guided meditation and relaxation practice to help you transition out of the group.
